Ray White has launched its unique nation-wide division, Ray White Strata, headed up by Ray White Canberra’s Doug O’Mara.
Ray White Strata is the first of its kind, Mr O’Mara said, explaining the division started in the ACT as Canberra Units Plan Services and would now expand to Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane and then nationally. “The aspiration is to have one [Ray White Strata] in every city,” Mr O’Mara explained.
“It’s similar to the [Ray White] Hotels model and there’s great synergy with the work of Ray White Invest and Project Marketing. Nobody has ever taken a national approach to servicing developers, institutions and body corporate type managements.
“We’ll be working closely with Ray White offices to leverage existing relationships with developers and ensure any resale work is returned to them,” he added.
Ray White Strata will focus on bigger clients, similar to the clients Canberra Units Plan Services had been servicing for the past 25 years in managing more than 600 bodies corporate throughout the ACT.
The Ray White Strata portfolio includes large, exclusive marquee and high-rise developments, as well as a wide range of boutique townhouse complexes, serviced apartments and commercial properties.
“We are well known locally for providing sound advice under the Unit Titles Act and giving guidance to owners in matters of conflict, improvement to common property and winwin situations for owners in general,” he said, adding this knowledge and experience would be replicated nationally.
Mr O’Mara explained the role of a strata manager spanned both operational and strategic experience, which added value for clients, rather than just having someone managing the process.
Ray White Strata offers:
“Ray White Strata eases the burden by facilitating solutions to almost any problems, complaints and concerns - big or small - that affect both owners and bodies corporate in today's demanding world,” Mr O’Mara concluded.
