Mat Steinwede, Are you in a slump?

Mat Steinwede, Are you in a slump?

This can happen, actually it happens to the best of them but always remember slumps are never permanent.

The sun will shine again. You just have to keep walking towards the sun. If you are in a slump take a few minutes to reflect on why that is?

  1. Have you been feeling focused and on track or have you been focused on things that won't lead you to success like the declining market or the competition?
  2. Have you been working to a structured day or have you just been running with whatever has your attention at that point in time?
  3. Have you been completely focused on your goals like nothing else in the world matters?
  4. Have you been pro-actively speaking to at least 20 new people per day about buying or selling; these could be calls to your farm area, buyer calls or past client calls.
  5. Have you been giving your current owners such good service that if they were surveyed today they would say you are amazing?
  6. Are you telling yourself a story of success or are you thinking that things are going crap?
  7. Are you so focused every morning when you wake up you can literally feel that the results are flowing towards you?
  8. Are you prospecting most of the day?
  9. Are you feeding your mind with successful and uplifting things all day every day or are you listening to the radio or watching the news?
  10. Are you taking control of everyday and making it a super successful day or are you bouncing around like a pinball machine?

Slumps are usually the flow on effect of your actions over the previous days, weeks and months and can be changed in an instant. The reason they can be changed in an instant is you can make a decision that today will be different; you can get totally certain that you will do what it takes right now to start building the course of success, the course that you want. Success is nothing more than a series of super productive days strung together to create a successful outcome and if you're not on that path right now and want to be, decide to do it and start running towards the sunny days that are waiting for you. Slumps are just a reflection of the previous choices you have made, that's all and if you want a different outcome, start making different choices and then stick to them.

Then all you will need is lots of sunscreen because your days will become so much more sunnier :)
