Real estate veteran appointed as the new Managing Director for RE/MAX Australia.
RE/MAX, a pioneer and global leader in real estate, is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Davoren as Managing Director of RE/MAX Australia.
Michael Davoren is a respected veteran of Australian real estate with an extensive career that spans three decades, including terms as President of both The Real Estate Institute of Australia (REIA) and The Real Estate Institute of Queensland (REIQ). He is currently a Director of the REIQ and has also managed his own real estate company, had past appointments in industry corporate roles and is an award winning auctioneer.
“I think Michael is the perfect choice to lead RE/MAX Australia,” said Larry Oberly, RE/MAX Vice President, International Development. “He’s familiar with so many aspects of the Australian real estate industry and has vast experience and a track record of results and excellence.”
RE/MAX began its Australian operations in 1997 and experienced significant growth as real estate agents discovered the freedom, profitability and personal growth opportunities the network offered. Thirteen RE/MAX Australia agents are among the elite in the world, winning the distinction of being named in the RE/MAX International Top 100.
“I’m excited about joining RE/MAX and looking forward to contributing to the organisation’s growth in Australia,” said Mr Davoren. “RE/MAX is number one in so many countries, and my goal is to see that it becomes number one in Australia too.”
The RE/MAX red, white and blue hot air balloon is one of the most recognised corporate logos around the world, but the company is most respected for its top performing agents. RE/MAX agents perform well because of the comprehensive training and many resources and tools provided to its agents. The RE/MAX system is recognised as one of the leading real estate franchise companies in the world with a reach of over 80 countries, a presence greater than any other competitor.
