I recently had the pleasure of attending one of Lee’s Complete Salesperson events. The two day event in Brisbane was for the Brisbane based “Place Group”, an exceptional organisation who have embraced all things modern, chic and electronic. A Culture within the Group has emerged which is unlike any other I have experienced industry wide.

I arrived early on the first day and was met in the foyer of the venue by Garry Jones – Garry is an agent with Place. I had met Garry at one of my eMarketing training sessions about a year earlier.

Garry, with his usually friendly demeanour, rather excitedly told me how he had embraced the eMarketing concept as a means for generating listings and sales in his real estate business.

He told me how that using the solution provided to him by the Place Group, in just the last 9 months his business had more than doubled.

I needed to know more?

Garry has about 1700 Contacts. He sends his eNewsletter at the same time (within minutes) on the same day each week, has an open rate of 25%+ and click through rates on opens of 35% – Garry’s statistics are marginally above average. Garry also sends satellite campaigns when appropriate which include, Buyer Alerts, Just Listed and Recently Sold, out to his database weekly.

The following morning, Garry approached me once again, this time to arrange more training to help him become an even better Property eMarketer than he already is.

Later on that day, Garry took out the Place award for second most prolific fees in the previous quarter, putting him at a level equal to annual fees exceeding $1m. Congratulations, Garry.
